Established in 2023, Essence emerged with a mission to challenge the stereotypes and limitations of the Surfing industry. We recognised the notion that old surf brands could be outdated and unfair, and set out to create a brand that celebrates inclusivity and looks to support our wider surf community.

At Essence Surfwear, our purpose is clear - to craft high-quality garments that effortlessly blend surf style and streetwear, allowing individuals to express their unique style while feeling comfortable and confident. We place a strong emphasis on sourcing premium fabrics and incorporating meticulous custom cut and sew dimensions into every piece we create.

Manufactured and screen printed locally in Queensland, our commitment to quality extends to every step of our production process. We prioritise ethically produced materials and uphold the highest standards in craftsmanship, ensuring that each item we offer meets the discerning expectations of our valued customers.
